Dreams – Woven and Words

This springs from work presented by Clare McCarroll as part of the Carleton Summer School. Tyrone poet Des Donnelly attended and wrote a poem based on the piece “A Flying Dream”. From this interpretation emerged a collaboration which won an Award from the Arts Council in the North for the creation of 5 poems (forming the basis for 5 textile wall hangings) and 5 textile wall hangings (forming the basis for 5 additional poems). The primary theme revolves around Dreams.
